Toronto employment lawyer Doug MacLeod, principal of MacLeod Law Firm, will be speaking at a seminar on Feb. 12 in Barrie for employers on how to properly terminate an employee.
Titled ‘Termination – Doing It Right!’ the three-hour seminar will feature MacLeod and Lotte Struwing, president of Lasting Solutions HR Consulting & Coaching, in a presentation about the how-to’s of terminating an employee: how to know it’s time, how your personal obligations tie in, how to prepare for all aspects of termination and how to minimize future risk and what your legal obligations are.
