Is Your Severance Package Fair?

If your employment has recently been terminated and you have been provided with a severance package, then read on.

Time Limit to Accept Package

Most employers give an employee 5 to 7 days to accept a severance package. If you call us, one of our lawyers can meet you within a day or two.

If you call us a day or two before the deadline, then we can contact the employer on your behalf and we can normally can get you an extension.

Is My Package Fair?

Most people who call us want to know whether the severance package is fair. At the end of an initial consultation we will answer this question.

If we don’t think the package is fair then we will tell you what we think is fair in your circumstances.

We normally try to negotiate a fair package with your former employer on your behalf before starting court proceedings. However, if the employer takes an unreasonable settlement position, we will start legal proceedings on your behalf.
